Issue:
Yum cannot proceed even though the Transaction Testing is passed. but after seeing a message: Warning: RPMDB altered outside of yum
then waited for a while, it showed: killed. Then stop the installation
Using the following are all not effective:
- rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db.*
- yum clean all
- rpm –rebuilddb
Solution:
- Run: Yum history new
- Reboot
